生产方法 

在自然界茜素存在于茜草的根部。将蒽醌 -2- 磺酸与苛性钠和氯酸钾或硝酸钾共熔，然后把熔融物倾入热水中，再用盐酸将茜素沉淀而得：

将 9g 氯酸钾、 30g 蒽醌 -2- 磺酸钠和 110g 氢氧化钠同溶于 110ml 水中，在压热釜中于 170 ℃加热反应 25g 。冷后将反应物用水提取几次，每次 150ml 。

水提取液过滤，滤液用盐酸酸化。冷却后吸滤析出的沉淀，洗涤，烘干，得约 20g 茜素。

Production methods
